At the next lesson of the art studio “Free Style” readers learned how to embroider a flower, using such types of stitches as chain and stalked.

The stalked seam is used for embroidering contour patterns, stalks and twigs, and stripe stitching in complex embroidery is embroidered with a chain stitch, the cores of large flowers and motifs are sheathed.

The girls diligently studied, rejoiced in their small successes and listened to stories about folk embroidery.
