This year marks a major event in the Karaganda region – the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot Nurken Abdirov.

In this regard, our library held a regional contest of creative works “The Image of Nurken Abdirov in the Works of Children” among schoolchildren of the Karaganda region.

The 74 creative collective and individual works performed in different techniques (embroidery, patchwork, applique, homemade books, mock-up, 3D panorama, burning, drawing, facing) were presented using a variety of materials.

The participants in the competition were guys from the cities: Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Karaganda, Karazhal, Saran, Satpayev and Abay, Bukharazhirau, Zhanaarkinsk , Karkaraly, Nurinsk , Osakarovsk districts. The most active were the guys from Karkaraly and Nurinsk was districts.

The jury evaluated the work of A. Abdirov’s nephew A. Abdirov, secretary of the NGO “Regional Council of Veterans” Zh.K. Tomkiev, the head of the mass excursion work department of the Karaganda Regional Museum of Fine Arts S. Cherkayev, teacher of fine arts of the KSCE “ School of Arts 2 ”Ku Yu.P., production designer of the Karaganda Regional Kazakh Drama Theater named after S.Seifullina Sadyrbekov Zh.M.

According to the terms of the competition, one Grand Prix, one first place, two second and two third places were determined.

AWARDS PRIZES

The hall gathered more than 250 spectators: children from the region, students from city schools, parents, teachers, invited guests.

The winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas of I, II, III degree and valuable prizes. The partners of our library, the team of the Saryzhailau Cinema, also thanked the children for participating in the competition and presented memorable gifts to the guys whose work was, in their opinion, the most interesting.

“Nurken Abdіrov – 100 year ” (folder, paper). Tolepbek Aizat (13 years old), Zhanysbaeva Ayaulym (13 years old). Karkaraly district.

Particularly noted was the work of “N. Abdirov Murazhai 1941-1945” (model, tree) by Igor Garmay, author (14 years old) from Karaganda. He was handed a tablet with a SIM card and monthly Internet payment.

The ceremony of awarding musical numbers was decorated by students of the children’s music school 1 of Karaganda and the exemplary choreographic ensemble “Kuanysh” under the direction of A. Toiboldina.

The children from distant villages were given the opportunity to attend the event, see the work of their peers, meet the guests and visit our library.
