On August 27 of this year, our active readers in the circle of their families took part in the international action “Book on the Palm”, initiated by the Centralized System of Children’s Libraries of the Samara City District, which takes place annually as part of the reading promotion program.

The purpose of our library’s participation: to support the Action by introducing children of preschool and primary school age to the best works of children’s writers in Kazakhstan and share their impressions.

The Action was attended by: Podgainova Yulia – 1st year student of the medical college of the city of Karaganda; Abiev Daniil – student of the 1st “b” class of secondary school №63 of the city of Karaganda; Vladimirqyzy  Aisulu – a student of the 3rd “a” class of secondary school No. 17 of the city of Karaganda; Vladimir Zhuldyz – a pupil of the 2nd “a” class of secondary school No. 17 of the city of Karaganda; Vladimir Ergali – preschooler; Zhaina Ybraim – librarian of the Karaganda Regional Children’s Library named after Abay; Tolegen Ayim, Nursulu, Nursultan – pupils of primary school age.

The kids got acquainted with the best works of Kazakhstan poets like Orazakyn Askarov, Kastek Bayanbaev, Tolymbek Abdraimov, Muzafar Alimbaev.
