The Children’s Book Week is an annual traditional event held by our library for Karaganda children.

The second day of the Week “Through the pages of the jubilee books” is dedicated to the books – the anniversaries of 2018.

On the 13th of March, a literary reading of the fairy tale – the jubilee of S. Aksakov “The Scarlet Flower” (160 years) was held for students of the 2nd class of school number 64 and of the 4th class of school number 50.

At the beginning of the event, the children were told about the author and how this fairy tale was written. A fairy tale, on which grew more than one generation is instructive and beautiful.

Then the children watched an online film “The Scarlet Flower” (Figure V. Panova, 1977), took part in a fairy tale quiz, composed a story on a mnemotoblitz.

People at all times are drawn to a fairy tale, to the triumph of good. “The Scarlet Flower” is an example of the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, love over hatred. A fairy tale teaches that goals need to be achieved with kindness and humanity. Only they should be rewarded. And meanness and envy can not be rewarded with happiness and luck.
