December 21 for schoolchildren of 10-11th grades of school №63 together with the Saryzhailyau cinema the library employees held a celebration of the artistic word “Zhyrymen zhurtyn oyatqan ”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Kazakh writer, publicist, teacher, one of the founders of the new Kazakh literature, talented poet of the twentieth century – Magzhan Zhumabaev.

The children were shown a documentary about the tragic fate of the young poet; schoolchildren learned that Magzhan Zhumabayev’s name was returned to the people only in 1960, thanks to the efforts of his faithful friend Zuleikha Zhumabayeva.

After viewing, an acquaintance with his work took place through the book exhibition “Zhyrymen zhurtyn oyatqan ”. Podgainova M. read his works “My Pupil”, “The Mystery of the Barber”, “To the whole world …”. The guys discussed issues of good and evil, morality, loyalty and friendship, honor and dignity in the works of one of the most important poets of Kazakhstan.
