Arshabekov Temirgali Tleubekuly

Arshabekov Temirgali Tleubekovich was born on March 30, 1963 in the city of Karazhal.
He is graduate of the Faculty of History of the Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketova. He began his career with teaching at the Saransk Pedagogical School named after Abai.
In 1991-1994.he worked as a researcher at the Central Kazakhstan branch of the National Academy of Sciences.
Since 1994 he worked as a teacher at the KarSU named after E.A. Buketova, since 2001 – he is a senior lecturer. In 2012, he worked as the director of the Dolinsky Museum of Political Repression, from 2013 to 2018 he worked as the Deputy Director of the Karaganda Regional Museum of Fine Arts.
Since August 2018, he has been the head of the archive for scientific and technical documentation of the Karaganda region.
He is one of the authors of the program “Ethnocultural Studies of Saryarka” (2001-2004). Scientific supervisor of the research project “Toponymic map of the Karaganda region”. He was the executive editor of three editions of the collection of young researchers “Problems of History and Ethnology of Kazakhstan”. Since 1992, he led a field ethnographic expedition of students across the Central Kazakhstan region. In 2001 he headed the expedition “Saryarka Alemi”, organized jointly with the Department of Culture of the region in connection with the tenth anniversary of the country’s independence. Since 2005, on behalf of the regional department of culture, under the program of regional cultural heritage, he led an ethnographic expedition to study the historical and cultural monuments of the Ulytau and Nurinsky districts.

The fund of the Karaganda regional library named after Abai contains books by T. T. Arshabekov “Saryarkanyn ethnical kartasy” (2012), “Atbasar district” (2016), compiled together with other authors.
He is the Author of over two hundred scientific articles. He made proposals for the reconstruction of the historical and cultural heritage of the Karaganda region in the mausoleums “Saidaly Sary Tonga”, “Shon Telgozyuly “, “Ak Mustafa Meshiti”, “Saqal” of the Zhanaarka region and became a scientific consultant. In the course of promoting the cultural heritage of the region, together with the Kazakhstan-Karaganda TV channel, he took a direct part in several messages “Echo”, “Lesson of Good”, “Mangilik Mura”. Awarded with badges “25 years of Independence of Kazakhstan”, “The best local historian”, a member of the onomastic commission of the Karaganda region.
In October 13-16th , 2020 Arshabekov T.T. offline took part and trained in the international seminar “Scientific and technical documentation: traditional and innovative forms of work”, organized by the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation.
In 2021, he became the owner of the Prize of the Akim of the Karaganda region “Til Zhanashyry” in the nomination “Til Maitalmany”.
