Creative salon “Kazakh sakhnasynyn sanlaqtary”

This year famous talented women of Kazakhstan K. Baiseitova, R. Baglanova, Sh. Zhandarbekova, Sh. Zhienkulova celebrate anniversaries. Unsurpassed masters of their craft have left a unique mark in the Kazakh art. In order to get acquainted with their work, a creative salon “Kazakh sakhnasynyn sanlaqtary” was held in the library.
During the event, famous songs of singers were performed, poems were recited, actress A. Kaldybekova performed a monologue from D. Isabekov’s performance “Actress”, Kazakh folk dances were performed.
As part of the creative salon, a book and illustrative exhibition “Kazakh oner tarlandary” was organized.

Book exhibition “Rukhani kelesim – beybitshilik kepili”

October 18 is declared the Day of Spiritual Harmony in Kazakhstan. This day is significant in the life of every Kazakhstani. Through the demonstration of the book exhibition “Rukhani kelesim – beybitshilik kepili”, librarians explain to schoolchildren such concepts as “the unity of the people”, “consolidation of society”, “religious tolerance”.
The exhibition presents books and periodicals that reveal the basic principles of Kazakh society – inter-religious and inter-ethnic harmony since independence.
The book exhibition is aimed at fostering tolerance, social harmony, the formation of a respectful attitude towards people of different nationalities and religions among the younger generation, respect for human dignity and individuality.
The exhibition will operate from 17 to 26 October in the reading room of the library.

Art workshop “Free Style”

Our regular readers Tomiris, Nursulu, Aisha took part in the next lesson in the Free Style art workshop, where they learned how to make decorative jewelry. The head of the group Zh.Ybraim shared her experience in creating hairpins using beads.

TV project “Formula of Success”

On October 13, another shooting of the program “Formula of Success” on the TV channel “Saryarqa” took place with the participation of a young athlete, from Karaganda, bronze medalist of the Asian Table Tennis Championship Alan Kurmangaliyev.
Students of the Higher Polytechnic and Higher Humanitarian Colleges gathered in the studio. The guest of the program, Alan, at the age of 15, is already known as the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2021, the winner of the prestigious Asian tournament “Asia Hopes Week” in Bangkok, the silver medalist of the world tournament “2019 ITTF World Hopes Week and Challenge” in Salalah, the best cadet of the world in 2019 according to International Table Tennis Federation ITTF.
This year, Alan Kurmangaliev became the first athlete in the history of table tennis in Kazakhstan to win a medal at the Asian Championship. This event took place in Laos, at the XXVI continental championship among juniors and cadets, where he took third place.
“Before this Asian Championship, I played a lot of international competitions with good results. But this championship was the most important in my life,” the tennis player shared.
Alan is certainly proud of his achievements. However, he admits that every victory is the result of hard work, discipline, dedication and support from loved ones.
Alan Kurmangaliev came to table tennis at the age of 7. He liked this sport from the very first day. He even asked the coach to transfer him immediately from the beginner group to more professional guys, as they trained for 2-3 hours. His coach Elmira Aliyeva immediately noticed Alan’s abilities and aspirations. And, now, according to Alan, she gives him the opportunity to develop, inspires him, promotes him at the international level.
The young athlete talked about how he overcomes difficulties, what he does in his free time, which countries he visited and how he copes with the excitement before the game, as well as about his main dream – to become an Olympic medalist.
Alan, who has his own sporting achievements, shared his formula for success in the studio with his peers: “Push things to the end and never give up.”
At the end of the program, active students received commemorative prizes from the athlete, he was also traditionally presented with the book “Words of Edification” by Abai Kunanbaev and a statuette, a symbol of success.

Literary and musical living room “Argynmyn, atym – Aset aryndagan …”

The library hosted a literary and musical drawing room “Argynmyn, atym – Aset aryndagan…”, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of the remarkable akyn-improviser Aset Naimanbayuly.
During the event, the library staff dwelled in detail on the facts from the life and work of Aset Naimanbaev, noting that the composer made a great contribution to the literary heritage fund as an outstanding singer and akyn.
Aset’s songs were performed by the teacher of the Children’s Music School named after K. Amanzholov Yerden Baitoganov. The children watched a documentary film about the museum named after Aset, there were also presented books and periodicals telling about the works of Aset, which were included in the musical and poetic treasury of the Kazakh people.

Meeting with a writer

As part of the library project “We create for you, children!” in our library there was an unforgettable meeting of readers with a children’s writer, prose writer, essayist Elena Klepikova, who came from Almaty. She is the author of nine and co-author of eight books, a teacher at the OLSh (Open Literary School) and the winner of many literary competitions and awards, including the Daraboz award (Kazakhstan), the Golden Pen of Russia (Russia). The author’s books are published in many countries and translated into Kazakh and English.
The meeting was held in the format of a round table, and each child could ask the author any question. The children prepared a staging of Elena Klepikova’s fairy tale “Quarantine Little Men”, and members of the dance group “Nurbi” pleased the children with an incendiary dance “Tentek kyzdar”.
At the end of the meeting, an autograph session took place, many words of gratitude were expressed, both to the author and the organizers. Library staff are convinced that such meetings are necessary, “live communication” with the author arouses the child’s interest in the book and reading in general, helping to shape the reader’s taste.

Оnline meeting «Okudy zhandandyru: ideyalar men tazhiribeler aumagy»

On October 5, the staff of our library took part in an online meeting “Okudy zhandandyru: ideyalar men tazhiribeler aumagy” with colleagues from Pavlodar region.
The initiator and organizer of the professional event is the Pavlodar Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Toraigyrov.
About the Children’s Reading Center named after Suleimen Bayazitov, project activities, new forms of work with children were told by specialists serving children from the Central Children’s Hospital of Ekibastuz, Zhelezinsk Central Children’s Library, Central Children’s Hospital named after M. Zhamanbalinov, OUNB named after S. Toraigyrov.
A professional exchange of experience took place, we shared our professional developments in competitive, project activities, and in the acquisition of the book fund. An effective, full-fledged dialogue took place between the librarians of the two regions, in which 66 people took part.

The Results of the international children’s competition of book illustrations “Magic Colors”

On September 29, in the small hall of the Karaganda Regional Kazakh Academic Drama Theater named after Saken Seifulin, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the international children’s competition of book illustrations “Magic Colors”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh children’s writer Moldakhmet Kanazov.
The competition of children’s works was organized by the Karaganda Regional Children’s Library named after Abai as part of the Year of Children and the Year of Children’s Literature in Kazakhstan. Children aged 11-14 received 122 creative works from different parts of the world: Germany, Israel, France, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan.
The competition was held with the support of the department of culture, archives and documentation of the Karaganda region, as well as the sponsorship of Qasym LLP baspa uyi.
The winners of the competition were awarded the attention of Moldakhmet Kanazov himself, the Honored Guest of the awards ceremony.

Our competition also attracted the attention of the trade union organization of the region, which noted the interesting work of Karaganda children and wished to reward them with valuable prizes. The chairman of the Karaganda regional branch of the NGO “Industrial trade union of workers of culture, sports, tourism and information” A.Userova presented gifts and certificates to Yashina Evgenia, Oralbai Alua , Murzakaeva Safiya, Imasheva Kamila.
Children’s writer Moldakhmet Kanazov (Almaty) personally noted the work of Zhangozha Inkar (West Kazakhstan region, Chingirlau district) and presented the participant with a prize – a cell phone.

Library lecture “Abai murasy – khalyk ulagaty”

Abai library hosted a library lecture “Abai murasy – khalyk ulagaty”, dedicated to the work of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev.
A lecture for high school students of the city was delivered by the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature Nazarbayev of the Intellectual School of Chemistry and Biology in the city of Karaganda, Excellence in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yesenzholova Aitzhamal Oralkhanovna.
During the lecture, topical problems of Abai studies were covered, issues of the formation of Abai as a thinker, philosophical, aesthetic and social views of the poet, the attitude of contemporaries to the work of the poet and composer were touched upon.

Evening of opinions “Dauirdіn dara tulgasy”

On September 23, the library hosted an evening of opinions “Dauirdin Dara tulgasy”, which was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the outstanding writer Mukhtar Auezov.
The guys watched an excerpt from the documentary film “Secrets. Fate. Names. Mukhtar Auezov. The librarian told about the little-known facts of the life and work of the classic of Kazakh literature. Students 10, 11 “A” of gymnasium 1 shared their impressions of the read works. Alexey Lemko told about how he, as an actor, participated in the production of a play about the life of Abai “Know, descendant, I laid the road for you” in the Karaganda State Order of Friendship of Peoples Russian Drama Theater named after K.S.Stanislavsky. Each of the participants of the evening expressed his opinion about the work of M. Auezov.
An interesting digression from the dialogue was a speech about the influence of M. Auezov’s work on modern Kazakh literature, Master of Pedagogical Sciences G. Zhumadilova.
